Darkfall: Unholy Wars: Lost network connection to chosen server
It tells me to please check internet connection is functioning effectively. When I attempt & connect to U.S. server. I just purchased the game & logged in fine & was doing the tutorial when all of a sudden my internet connection goes out. So then I fix it and try to log back to the Darkfall Unholy Wars gold game and get the error. Also I am kinda lost on how to make a forum account on the official site so I thought Id ask here.
You have to sign up a forum account after which link it to your darkfall account on the account page to gain acces to the beta forums whereafter you can make a post.
Sorry cannot answer here caused by NDA already got 2 infractions.

Darkfall Unholy War: What lands do you plan to live out of?
Q:I'm curious to know where folks plan to call their home lands, at least until moving out into DFUW gold player cities. I plan to roam the human lands, more often than not for the reason that that's on the whole where most individuals go. How about you?
A:I loved Yssam back when I played DF. I'm hanging out in Dwarflands for the Beta with my clan.
Center of the map, due to the fact somebody desires to watch all these uber-mobs in case they get stuck & cannot attack.

Darkfall Unholy Wars: How would you summarize Aventurine up...
The reason I ask is that I'm one of those guys who unfortunately didnt play the first darkfall (Though I did play the 7 day trial when it was £1) and would like to know from the community that is already involved with the game and company or who have been in the past, If you could summerise your experience with them in terms of; Customer Support, Game Patch Consistency, The ability to listen to its players and how long have you dealt with Aventurine?

I'd say AV are amazing.
Not because they made a great game or anything like that, but because well..
Imagine if Hitler came back from the dead, and all the Jews went and shook his hand then willingly walked into a death camp... I fucking hate AV as a company, they actually are worse than EA, yet.. god damn they made the only gw2 gold game that could be one to play. If they ever fix it.
When i had contact with support they were helpful.
Anything that has to do with billing got solved. GM's respond quickly and friendly ingame but anything more than unstuck a player was not possible.
AV's communication with the playerbase is HORRIBLE .
However there game is a real gem and i love it, if another company would produce a game like darkfall i would switch to that instantly because of the bad communication with there playerbase and sometimes flat out lieing.
A small dev company who despite low funds (compared to the much larger firms) and complaining player base somehow manages to be number 1 hyped game here, number 3 or 4 game on gamespot.
I think in short, if AV really is a problem, then it means the entire industry is cluster f*cked

Darkfall Unholy Wars delay is because of the bug
Developed by Greek game team Aventurine S.A, Darkfall Unholy Wars game originally scheduled release on yesterday, but due to unknown reason the release time be delayed to early next year. Aventurine spokesman Tasos Flambouras explained the cause of the delay to the media.
The reason is that a puzzling BUG caused the delay of the game released, and the bug also affected the whole Darkfall Unholy Wars gold game, in brief to say that is some role may lose her all equipment suddenly at some time. Darkfall Unholy Wars: Servers Live with a Caveat
Aventurine Studios has announced that the Darkfall: Unholy Wars servers are finally online after a "long night" of bug squashing. The announcement comes with a caveat, in spite of this, that latency difficulties are present & more.
You will experience latency troubles at the beginning. There is an unusually high volume of men and women logged in & attempting to get into the DFUW gold game. This will get better soon & we'll be taking measures to fix this in the next days.
You could use the beta forums in case you connect your player account with your forum account. To do this go to Services>Account>Log in>Subscription, then look to the bottom of the page, enter your forum details to connect your accounts. Darkfall Unholy Wars: Tasos Speaks Hilights/Notes
Overall the vibe was positive. Tasos seemed enthused to be there, and didn't hold back much, but was generally lengthy-winded attempting to convey points & such. Here's my notes:

New Darkfall dev diary vid talks art direction, Unholy Wars alterations

Get out of the fire! Get into the healing! Strategic movement is a key precept in today's World of Warcraft. Encounter design for even everyday zone mobs scritch-scratches at the wool of player tunnel vision, nudging players to make haste out of various sizzling, glowing, steaming puddles of bad. But if we players are to remain light on our feet, we need to be effective even while we're in motion. Over the years, WoW has given us more and more ways to do exactly that. Yet even as mobility becomes a baseline expectation, casting or using skills on the move has not become a baseline ability. In an era of gameplay exemplified byGuild Wars 2's constant dodging, half of WoW still has its feet tangled in cast times and channeling and positioning.
Like WoW and its puddles of bad, GW2 expects gw2 gold players to avoid certain damage -- but with much greater alacrity. In GW2, you hop sideways and leap backwards to dodge blows and spells, rather than hoping your stats will help you "dodge," mitigate, or absorb some of them. Dodging becomes a compelling mechanic that's fairly simple to adjust to for a WoW player who's used to moving out of the bad. Readjusting to WoW after a session of GW2, however, is more problematic. I find myself juking my own character (yes, I think you could call interrupting yourself to the point of inaction "juking") when I return to WoW after playingGW2, strafing and jiggling and double-tapping in a vain attempt to dodge my opponent's wrath. My hyper-twitchiness is only complicated by the fact that WoW wants you to move away from some but not all attacks. It's a difficult halfway point to come back to.
We've come a long way from the days of plunking our butts down at range to plow through rotation and mana micromanagement. But have we come far enough? Does WoW need to lighten up even more, freeing players to cast and act freely with a more natural flow of action, rather than juggling discrete movement and action phases? Maybe you believe that the mix of both types of abilities presents its own interesting challenges. It certainly has become the foundation of boss encounter design and strategies, and it's a pillar of PvP balance as well. Taking away the yin and yang of movement and stillness would tear apart the whole.
What if we could gain the ability to move with complete freedom during combat in WoWwithout destroying encounter and game balance? Would we also benefit from the more dynamic dodging mechanics of games like Guild Wars 2? Or do you like WoW's blend of movement and static elements just as it is?
